The PGA Tour will be heading to Augusta, Georgia for a huge tournament that will see the European Tour members join the PGA Tour and compete for a large prize purse. This is a great tournament that will see the European Tour show up and compete as well. Last year, it was Phil Mickelson who walked away with the Grand Prize of $1,350,000 and he also took home 600 FedEx Cup points. Past winners in the last few years include Angel Cabrera in 2009, Trevor Immelman in 2008 and Zach Johnson in 2007. The field for the Master's Tournament includes Robert Allenby and Stuart Appleby as well as Paul Casey, Angel Cabrera, Jonathan Byrd and Ricky Barnes. Also K.J. The Masters has the smallest field of the major championships. Officially the Masters remains an invitation event, but there is now a qualification process. In theory, the club could simply decline to invite a qualified player. Each player is classified according to the first category by which he qualified, but other categories are shown in parentheses. Golfers who qualify based solely on their performance in amateur tournaments (categories 6-10) must remain amateurs on the starting day of the tournament to be eligible to play.
